About Lydie Laperal-Rocha
Born in a Franco/Spanish/Belgium family, Lydie Laperal-Rocha grew up in France immersed in cross-cultural relationships. Passionate for the international world and people enthusiast, it was a natural choice for her to study international trade at ESSEC business school in France, followed by an academic specialization in Business development for Iberian & Latin American markets at the Sorbonne University in Paris. This was later supplemented by an additional course at INSEAD in Singapore focusing on building business in Asia.
During her 27 years working for medium and large consumer goods companies, Lydie has lived in France, China & the USA, and had responsibility for the European, Asian, Oceanic and American markets. Over the years she has specialized in opening & developing businesses in new “territories”...from strategy design and business planning to implementation and cross cultural, cross functional team building.
Her key focus has always been to deliver results through pragmatic, actionable and agile plans as part of a clear and meaningful strategy. But above all, she repeatedly experienced that building strong efficient collaborating teams was THE key to sustained success.
Leaving her executive career to relocate with her family in San Diego, Lydie decided to train further on personal development, leadership and emotional intelligence. She therefore studied at the College of Executive Coaching for a year to obtain her Advanced Certification as Personal and Executive Coach (ACPEC).
